Hard Wood Decking
This plantation grown hardwood from Indonesia is twice as hard as regular Mahogany, with less color variation than other hardwoods.  Red Balau can be finished to maintain a "furniture look", or allowed to weather to a silver gray.

• Shipped kiln-dried.
• An extremely dense, tight-grained wood.   Deep red with a minor amount of fine brown lines.
• Surfaced-four-sides. Remains smooth and splinter free.
• Premium selected heartwood – no knots, no defects
• Four (4) times harder than Redwood
• Naturally resistant to rot and decay
• Guaranteed for 20 years when installed and maintained properly
• Virtually maintenance free.
• A reddish-brown wood that will fade to a weathered gray if left untreated.  To retain the rich color, we recommend a high quality penetrating oil finish with ultraviolet inhibitors.
• Complementing accessories include balusters, handrails, posts, timbers, and fascia boards. Fastening systems, UV coating and end sealant also available.
